Today, Yahoo has claimed to register 2,565,002 yahoo domain names which in my mind is incredible. They are the 4th largest in the United States and 4th largest in the world of domain name registrants.

They continue to register domains on a daily basis and have been increasing domain names steadily throughout the years. With the internet exploding and web sites thriving, Yahoo will continue to be a leader in selling domain names, as long as users can continue building web sites with the Yahoo Hosting platform.
