Comparing Yahoo Web Hosting

How does Yahoo Web Hosting and this new upgrade compare with other web hosting providers?

The new Yahoo Web Hosting unlimited disk space and data transfer is the very first of its kind among the major web hosting providers in regards to shared web hosting. Most web hosting companies today offer 1,500 GB of web storage and 15,000 GB of bandwidth.

Prices vary amongst various hosting providers and the price tends to be more or less constant with little fluctuation.

The new and improved Yahoo Web Hosting is unique and original. I do believe it will have an affect on the web hosting community, but time will be the most significant contributor to their affect.

  • I'm concerned about moving my plan from the Geocities Pro 8.95/month with domain name, 2gb storage/10gb month xfer?, to the new Yahoo Web Hosting plan.

    Is the new Yahoo Hosting Plan the best they offer? Would you recommend moving up?

  • Personally, I recommend upgrading to the new Yahoo Web Hosting plan from GeoCities. you simply cannot beat the unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth, and unlimited email storage.. and for only a few dollars more per month. Not to mention there are plenty of other features you are getting with the upgrade such as the 500 sub-domains and templates.
